Forum problem polling ESX hosts after upgrading from 3.5 to 4.1

problem polling ESX hosts after upgrading from 3.5 to 4.1

I've upgraded my first batch of ESX hosts. Initially, the Polling Status reported "Bad Credentials".

I was able to resolve that and now the Polling Status reads "Polling" (green).

However, the ESX Host Status has a Red ! with the status "Could not Poll". SNMP is configure and still reporting all information. Has anyone else solved this issue?

I think since 4.0 a lot of the polling is done via the API, you will need to enter actual ESX-credentials, this is usually the root user
