Restart of orion clears all error and discard counters?

Each time I have to restart Orion services it starts collecting errors and discards for interfaces from scratch, surley this data should remain persistant and the console be able to continue from last known counters for each?

I have not seen that. Do they recover after a couple of polling cycles? I'll mark this for a PM to look at as well.

No they start counting from each subsequent poll, for instance yesterday I had over 1 million discards on an interface, after the restart this started from 1 again on the web console.
They seem to still be recorded in the sql table, just the actual console view for Top 10 Errors & Discards Today does not keep them acurate.

I see. Because we do the arithmetic in NPM to get the "Today" number, it look like the data from the calculation is not persisting after a reboot. Looks like this will be a feature enhancement or perhaps a bug. I have marked this for PM comment.
