I have a report that I think is similar to what you describe in your post. Mine only has one complex condition but I think it produces the results you're looking for. My filters select records based on day of the week and time of day along with a couple of custom properties to report for a specific agency. I've attached a screen shot of the filters for the report. Hopefully this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I got a bit further with your answer, but still having troubles getting the correct interfaces into my report. It keeps giving me a report for all my interfaces instead of the WAN interfaces. The peak hour setting is spot on though.
I added custom property to the wan interfaces and tried filtering on this, but no joy.
Here is a screenshot of my report:
I don't think you really need a complex condition. I have a similar report where I filter on a custom property that isn't empty. I don't know if this will make a difference, but you could try the following:
Select records where all of the following apply
Records where LAN_WAN is not empty
Records where Day of Week is not equal to Saturday
Records where Day of Week is not equal to Sunday
Records where Hour of Day (24 hour format) is greather than or equal to 8
Records where Hour of Day (24 hour format) is less than or equal to 17
If this doesn't work, the problem is likely with the custom property on your interface. I'd have to know how that LAN_WAN custom interface property is set up. Based on your filter, it's going to return any interface that has any entry in the LAN_WAN field. If it's a custom property where you used to distinguish between LAN and WAN and went through and removed all the LAN entries, that field probably isn't empty. It probably has a space instead of being set to Null. You can check that by running the following sql query against the Interfaces table:
select * from Interfaces
where LAN_WAN = ' '
Hopefully this helps you get a little further. If not, let me know. Good luck!
This did the trick. I'm now getting the correct interfaces. I guess you were right with your assumption that the field had a space in instead of Null.
And to think this was the easy report to make. I have to create another showing the minutes per day during peak hours when a wan interface went between 70% and 100%.
But that one can wait a bit :)
Thanks very much for your help!
You're welcome. I'm glad you got it working!
