Syslog - alerting on specific text

When I go into Advanced Alert Manager and attempt to built and alert I see no references to syslog. Only to nodes and SNMP states. Is there a way for Solar Winds to alert if it sees a particular string come up in syslog? Thank you.

Yes; however, this is not configured in the Advanced Alert Manager. You need to go into the Syslog Viewer console application, in there there is a menu option (represented by a yellow triangle) that will allow you to create alert rules.
