    Filter APM report by node

    MrSampsonite

I have reports that list stats for each node in the report. Some of them make sense to add to the Node summary page for each node. So I add a Report writer resource and filter it by saying "Nodes.NodeID = ${NodeID}" This way it takes the same larger report and just shows the data for that node. This works great.

however many of the reports make more sense being shown in the APM summary page for that application type for that node. For example, I want to show IIS connection data (historical, not current) for a node when I click on the IIS summary for that node.

however the filter no longer works. It's like ${NodeID} is not recognized. Here's the first line of the SQL error that is displayed:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Incorrect syntax near '{'.   at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection.OnError(SqlException exception, Boolean breakConnection)

I did notice this as well: the URL for the NPM summary is different at the end than the APM summary: Example:

      NPM: http://orion.mydomain.com/Orion/NetPerfMon/NodeDetails.aspx?NetObject=N:48

      APM: http://orion.mydomain.com/Orion/APM/ApplicationDetails.aspx?NetObject=AA:49

the "N" or "AA" value is different for each node.
