A prime example of why we need QOS/Netflow alerts

I would love to know when someone downloading from the internet eats up an entire pipe.  This is just one of many things that could be done with  QOS/Netflow alerts.  Alerting on drops and high usage of a queue would also be prime examples.

i absolutely agree...  the stats are ont he routers, but for some reason, only the really expensive tools do it...

I al looking to move to IBM Provisio as it does it and I already have an enterprise license but it is a horrible product to get your head around

come on SW, make the move, add a CBQoS tab to the main NPM pagfe and let us alert on queues etc, and easily chart the current EF and AF band utilisations
