Network Sonar Seed Router failure

I am trying to set up Network Sonar Discoveries and when I try to add a Seed router (Cisco 6509-E runing L3) it says Error: unable to find subnets. THis is a node that is already in both NPM and NCM but I want to run regualar scans going forward and since we have a lot of networks I would prefer to use seed routers instead and individually typing out subnets.

I can run switch port mapper on this switch with no trouble.

Do you have a router platform you can use instead of the switch?

I did try this on one of our routers just as a test and got the same results. However, even if it worked it wouldn't be much used as all of our core "routing" devices are L3 switches (either 4500 or 6500).
Forgot to mention that I am able to use Workspace studio and IP Network Browser to get a list of the TCP/IP Networks on the 6509.

I would try a packet capture on the Orion server filtered for the seed router. You should see a Get Bulk request from Orion for RFC 1213 ipRouteMask and replies from the seed with multiple varbinds for RFC 1213 if the request are being accepted by the seed router. Can you run this capture and post or PM it?
