Feature Request: NPM Atlas Maps

I would like to request a dynamic icon for the maps that can show a number value. I like how Atlas is object oriented, but I would love to be able to add SNMP Status for Temperature.

Example, I look at a map of our server room. I can see my servers are operational, but would like to place several Icons on the map, that will show the temperature from an SNMP Monitorable Envirnmental Sensor. I can generate a report to do this, but the ability to visualize locations would be an improvement. Then I could click on the icon, and see a trend report for that value. Maybe setup a threshold system for color changes

Wouldn't using of macros in labels help? There is a set of variables you can put into a label that is attached to a network object, and the variables are translated into actual values when the map is displayed on the web.
Sure, there is only one color, but it might be a temporary work-around for you. The variables are enclosed in braces: {CPULoad}

Custom properties are also supported.

That would partually work. I am trying to use a Custom Poller Value. The Foundry switches for example outputs in Celcius * .5, so I have to convert it back to Celcius before converting to Fahrenheit.

I am afraid it is not possible to use a value from a custom poller in maps. On the other hand, the Universal Device Poller application offers creating a new poller that may be a transformation of another poller's value.
