Neighbor scanning vs snmpv3

Hi,

I have a question. All my switches are configured to use SNMP v3. I added the credentials in IPAM. When I'm doing a subnet scan, all my switches has their DNS name resolved. I suppose SNMP credentials are working because I don't have any DNS entry for these devices...so the only way IPAM could find these names is via SNMP I suppose...

But when I'm enabling Neighbor scanning, SNMPv3 always failed when I click on TEST. If I add a snmpv2 on the switch for testing, everything works !

So is there a problem with Neighbor scanning and snmp v3 ?

Unfortunatley this is a bug for both neighbor discovery and subnet scanning. We are aware of the issues and I'm sorry for the inconvience you are experiencing. I will contact you offline to discuss further.
