Another rather srtange thing that I've noticed is that if you remove the adapters from the interface window, they just come back by themselves. Almost like there's a database problem.
I know this is a free tool, but it is based on Orion NTA right?
Did my install timebomb on me but just not say anything?
Is it not going to run under windows 7 or 64bit os?

Netflow Traffic Analyzer (Free Version) works only on 32bit OSs. The paid version appears to use a database and has very different system requirements than the free version.
If you want to run the free version, you are better off with 32bit XP. The getting started page says this but the product will let you install it on Win 7 64 bit.
It does work, or did for me, under Windows 7 64 for some time (over a week). One day it stopped doing captures and never functioned properly again.
