Orion Version 8 Charting problem

I am running an old Version of Orion NPM and I am having a problem with Charting with it.

For every interface, every node, every chart possible I get "No Chart Type has been Selected".

I have looked everywhere here and even hit everyone's favorite search engine for an answer to this problem. I'd love to get some help and I'll answer any questions regarding.

That version is no longer supported, any chance you can upgrade to a newer version of Orion?

My company can't afford to upgrade just yet. We took a pretty severe hit last year.

That being said...

Your answer is kind of not what I expected from such a great forum of intelligent users. I really need to figure out why Orion is not giving me historical charts. This should work out of the box and I cannot really justify us upgrading if the older version doesn't even give me what I need.

As bshopp mentions you should really look to upgrade (currently at 10, lots of new features, bug fix's etc etc).
In the meantime if you edit the chart do you have a chart type selected? has it worked before and recently stopped working?

I'd love to upgrade , trust me.

it hasn't worked since I installed it a month ago. We just recently went back to using Orion so yeah... busted it out and installed it but cannot get charts. This is basically what I get for every interface I select for any monitored node.

I basically get availability to chart and that's it. I know I do get traffic but it's just not charting.
