    Strange polling behavior

    deverts

      All,

Before opening a ticket, I wanted to ask if anyone else is seeing this.

We have NPM and a second poller.  NPM has APM, NTA, IPAM, and IPSLA installed and with all that traffic, we decided to have all the SNMP polling done by the second poller.  The problem we are seeing is on our polled servers (linux).  The servers are seeing 3 UDP connections PER MINUTE from the Primary NPM server, even though I have verified all polling should be done by the second poller.

Can someone verify what the Primary NPM server would be polling for?  Also, why 3 polls PER MINUTE?

We've had 2 systems crash because the max connections (65535) is being exceeded.
