Overall, there is nothing we don’t like. We are simply enjoying some of the new features more than others.
I'll start off winners - Liking stackable charts, groups / dependencies, fiber channel support and enhanced virtualization support (vcenter).
And finish with the so so - lack of good fiber channel and group / dependency reports out of box, editing alerts in the web interface is ok.
Good feedback. Couple responses
What other reports would you like to see out of the box for groups, dependencies and fiber channel switches?
Editing alerts on the web - can you expand on this. This is just the first step in a broader initiative with alerting. Are you just referring to not being able to do everything in the web or for the functionality that is there, do you not like something?
Install went fine and so far all good :)
Loving the schedule unmanage utility!!
Not sure i like the editing alerts on the web, but i may just need to spend a little more time looking at it...
For the dependencies / groups I'd like this: Re: How Dependencies Work
For Fiber Channel switches - The report is flat and the details are strange (as far as why they were included). I'd like to see a report by switch name, a report by switch type, etc. And I think the ports listed under the switches on the report should include the System Name, Interface Name and VSAN ID which are currently not displayed in the report - but you could remove the unit description which seems to always say "Switch".
