I have searched around and cannot find an answer to this problem. I can easily create a report that shows down and up events all in a list, but to make any use of this I have to stick them in a spreadsheet and copy/paste to match the up event to the down event. Over 800 events means this is hurting my brain.
I can find no way to generate a report that shows me a down event that affected a node, alongside the time the node came back up. I don't need to calculate the downtime I suppose, that can be done elsewhere. It can't be true that I have to continue by copying and pasting cells in excel every month. Say it ain't so!
This: How long each interface or node was down. is what I am looking for. Except in a report. I am hoping this is all I need, I have to wait a few days to make sure it is actually working correctly. I will let you know if this is the solution. Solarwinds should employ this guy ;-)
