I would really like to see some improvements to the Polling Engine Load Balancing system. Below are a few of the things I would really like to see...
- Ability to see additional node information on the list of nodes including items from Custom Properties so that I can better group and understand which nodes I am moving. Just the node name is not enough information.
- Ability to move nodes from one poller to another from the web interface
- Ability to move nodes from one poller to another without having to stop services on my polling engines
At this point we have enough systems being monitored that it's a significant to pain to use the load balancing tool with the limited information it displays on nodes coupled with the fact that I have to stop the pollers to do it.
