    Backup Profiler - No reports displaying

      Hi , I am having a problem with no reports coming back to the profiler server from my 3 Backup Exec 12.5 media servers.

      All agents have installed ok and are not showing any errors. Server monitoring is working ok , backup monitor configured for all 3 ok.

      However there are a lot of errors showing in the profiler event logs for each server -

      TRAP DETAILS: Enterprise: 1.3.6.1.4.1.10089.5 Agent Address: 10.0.2.106 Generic Trap: 6 Specific Trap: 37

      identifierType = 0
      identifier = -1
      moduleName = mod.sys.backup.Backup
      message = BUEXECJobXmlParser.parseJobXml() SAXException caught

      Has anybody any ideas ?

          If you click on the traffic light icon for the on the backup device (in Profiler), are there are any messages there?  If not, can you click on where it says Backup module in the same traffic light page and post the end of the log?

              Hi...thanks for the reply

              There doesnt appear to be any messages under the traffic light...all looks good in there.

              Here is the end of the backup module log , after just kicking off another test job -

                  logs look clean and those xml parsing errors could be benign.

                  Has a license been assigned to each of your backup servers? From the Resources pages, click on the edit icon and assign a license if it has not been. We need to allow new backup activity to occur or you can simulate a fresh install so that you get some historical data by doing the following

                  Browse to the agent\systemic\mod.sys.backup.Backup_1.0 folder

                  - stop the profileragent

                  - delete the data folder in the mod.sys.backup.Backup_1.0 folder

                  - start the profileragent
