I am just trying what polling rates are possible with my setup. I found that the poller runs quite good with 300 snmp polls per second. Is the limitation of 300 snmp polls per second a license restriction/technical restriction or can I go higher own my own per peril by manually updating the Engines SQL Table?
I believe the 300 snmp polls per second is a coding restriction imbedded in the software. The polls per second has nothing to do with your license as your license restricts your elements. I would not recommend manually updating the SQL table as if issues occur support might deem it unsupported. Just remember the more polls per second the harder you Orion and SQL box are working. This can sometimes lead to data gaps. Again this is all due to hardware.
