    Lock down Snippets

Snippets are one of the many great features in NCM. We are looking at using NCM snippets as a reliable, single reference location for all our baseline config snippets. The problem is that anyone who has access to the NCM app also has the ability to edit and save changes made to the snippets.

This request is for functionality to allow any user with upload download privileges in NCM the capability of editing a snippet as needed at the time of use but not the capability of saving any changes made. Only administrators would have the rights to create and save snippets.

Therefore an 'engineer' user could open a baseline interface configuration snippet, edit the snippet and upload it as normal. When the user closes the snippet he/she is not prompted to save the changed snippet because that user doesn't have the privileges.
