Need to display one map without asking for a password

Right now everyone that goes to the web interface of solarwinds has to log in.. My boss wants to change it so that they can go to solarwinds and get our overview page, then when anything is clicked on it asks for a login..

Can someone point me in the right direction??

Thanks

  • You might want to check into creation of the DirectLink account and give it access to what you need to see.

     Using the DirectLink Account

Enabling a DirectLink account allows you to make direct hyperlinks to specific web console views available to individuals who do not already have Orion Web Console user accounts. Any URL referring directly to an Orion NPM web page bypasses the login screen, logging the user into the DirectLink account. The DirectLink account is created like any other account, and it can include custom views and account limitations. For more information web console accounts, see "Creating New Accounts" on page 85.

  • the other option is to use Integrated Windows Authentication (if you want only the boss to see the page). See the Orion Admin Guide for more info.
