Command Line Tool -- "stair-step" effect when connecting to procurve switches

Hi,

When I connect to our procurve switches via ssh using the command line tool, each space-bar keypress is registered as a carriage-return and then the space is added.

There doesn't appear to be any options to customise the terminal output/type.

Can you help?

What's the model of the Procurve switch? We haven't seen this before and would like to try and reproduce.

Hi,
It happens when connecting to HP Procurve 2650's, 2610's and 3500yl's. The toolkit is installed on windows 7 professional.
