Our current ipMonitor setup was done by another technician and he used a temp. email for the Server Email Address (email@example.com basically). I want to use a dedicated service mailbox/account for these and have edited the "ipMonitor Server Email Address" field to have "ipMonitorAlert@domain.com" but my alerts continue to come from the firstname.lastname@example.org that they originally did. Am I missing a step in changing this? I just need the from: field to show the change.
Each email alert has its own "from" address configured within. Inside the email alerts configuration you will see a "Send Email From" field that you can edit.
The servers email address is only used to populate this field with a default value when first created.
