I screwed up my SNMP strings and had to reset them on all my switches. I used NCM to push the config change so that now they all have the correct matching SNMP strings, but now in NPM I have to go to "Edit Node Properties" and change all the SNMP strings. Is there any way to do a bulk change in NPM, so that I don't have to manually choose each device under "Node Management" and cut and paste the new SNMP strings one by one? They're all going to have the same strings, so I'd like to apply it to them all at once.
Never mind! I figured it out. Under "Edit Node Properties", I can group by Vendor, which puts all the Cisco devices - i.e. all my switches - into one list. Then I can select them all and edit them all at once. Just in case anyone was wondering what the solution was...
