Looking for a compare report for IPAM

Hello,

unfortunately it's not possible to display list of IPs which changed in past X hours.

But for every change of IP, there is audit message written to IPAM events - for example:

2/4/2010 1:00 PM     The IP '1.2.3.3' fields have been changed: Status to 'Used'

Wouldn't that work for you?

I am looking for more of a tool that I can use to Audit.  The idea is that once a quarter I would like to be able to tell a department that "okay, these 25 IP's changed from the last quarter.  Please look into this"  But you're telling me I can't have that. 

I suppose that if the changes are that important that they need to be audited that having an alert on a single instance would be a better idea.
Granted it would only be set up on networks that I know don't change often or aren't supposed to change at all.  Doing other wise could lead to some serious "boy who cried wolf" alerting.

l also think that this would be a benificial report, I have also been looking for a "Which IPs have been changed in the last X days" for certain subnets (like server, dmz, management, etc.)

On top of Martin's comment, even though not as elegant as it could be, you should be able to get this data out as we store an audit trail using report writer

What we're going to end up doing is exporting the data one day and have it be our fixed variable.  We'll be exporting it to excel. And then monthly or quarterly we'll export the data and run a diff compare on the 2 and ta da!  The data I need.

It's too bad this feature isn't built in.  But that's cool.  We will find a way!

Currently, I am using a program called "DiffDoc"  It's not the greatest out there but it's not too bad.
