DA787 - have you tried TFTP Server Service Fails to Start - System.NullReferenceException?
If that doesn't work - look at the application event log, it should tell you why the service is not starting.
I did try what what the link you provided said to do, but it didn't work. I tried it several times and I also re-installed it several times with out any luck.
Another person suggested I check to see if the service was started and I saw that it was stopped. I started it and it still did not work. I did this for several time and reinstalled as well and it didn't work. Then about the 8 or 9th time it suddenly worked. Very strange ..... I still can't figure out why. I'm going to do some more testing to see if I can make it happen again on the same computer. This problem is happening on more than one computer the others are also Vista x32 and X64
I had the same problem. Come to find out I had disabled the service. The tool does not seem to bother checking to see if the tool is set to disabled.
Make sure the service is running in the services control panel.
I'll mark this for the product manager and development to either address this or add it to the feature list.
