OS Language Requirement

We have not formally tested on Japanese OS

Are you browsing to NPM webserver from the webserver machine or another remote client?  If it's from a remote client (that has the language extensions for clients browser/OS) then it's possible that you don't have the characters or foreign language setting you need on server where you run System Manager and Report Writer from.  Interesting problem.

There is no problem related to Japanese characters on NPM web console from both the webserver machine and another remote client.

- Some scales of System Manager charts are garbled.

- Schedule values of Report Scheduler table are garbled.

Should I use English OS to avoid these problem?

If you can use an english version of the OS it should fix the problem.  Hopefully that's not too much of a problem for you since right now SolarWinds doesn't officially support Japanese yet.

When Japanese OS,  can I receive support for problems other than garbled characters?

(If I cannot receive any supports on Japanese OS, I decide to use English OS.)

Maybe Brandon could answer that question.  I would think SW's would do whatever they could to support licensed users of their products.
