Connect Failed (errors)

Hi JT,

Are all your devices running the same version of the OS?

Have you set the same connection method for all the devices in CatTools?

Is it always the same devices failing and do they always fail?

Thank you for the response. I have actually figured the problem out...

I saw on the majority that were working that they were using a different cipher list than the few that didn't work were using. So I called Riverbed and got the cipher command (which is a hidden one) and it worked.

ssh server allowed-ciphers aes128-cbc,3des-cbc,blowfish-cbc,cast128-cbc,arcfour,aes192-cbc,aes256-cbc,aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr

Where and how did you enetr the command(s)?

This is how it needs to be done.

SSH in to the Riverbed appliance (or use CMC send CLI commands)

go to enable mode and then go to config mode

ssh server allowed-ciphers "aes128-cbc,3des-cbc,blowfish-cbc,cast128-cbc,arcfour,aes192-cbc,aes256-cbc,aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr"
wr mem
exit
exit

I just finished testing with the latest version of Cat Tools and it worked.
