My syslog table in the NPM DB is 12GB! it seems one of our Cisco switches was left on the debugging option and sent this all to the syslog server. We keep 365 days, if I set the history to 7 days via the utility, how can I then force it to remove the rest of the history and free up the space?
you might need to open a support ticket on this. they helped me do this about 10 months back. (it might not be as 'selective' as you'll want it done though.) good luck!
