APM Component Monitor for tracking Full SQL query and publishing in Table

    Nizar

How can we create a Compnent monitor for SQL/Oracle database which can be published as a Table on the web.

      Scenario:

There is one query which returns multiple values for multiple database instances hosted on one Database Server in form of table.

      e.g.                              db_name                 Perc

                                          xyz                         95.67

                                          abc                         97.22

      and so on.....

          Nizar,

APM supports out of the box SQL Queries that can be deduced down to a single statistic value.  This is done to allow APM to appropriately evaluate the up/down/critical status of the component based on that stat.  So if you can somehow deduce the data in the table to a relevant stat (like number of rows or some other calculation) then you can use the SQL user experience monitor.

However if you do want to capture the output of the table then you may want to consider creating a script component that runs the query using ADO or another method and stores the results of the query in the Message component of the script results.
