HELP!!! SQL ERRORLOG

An Orion application/process is creating the file:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG

This file grows to over 19 gigs in size. The file then takes up all available drive space causing the Solarwinds Orion server to severily degrade in performance and many basic admin apps/features to stop responding. How can I identify the process/service creating the ERRORLOG file so I can disable it temporarily and/or how can I find the cause of this problem in order to fix it?

Use Process Monitor (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx) to check what process is writing to this file. I guess it is the SQL Server itself writing into this log.
