What was the result?

The scripts can often be quite generic and so may work with other device types depending on how different the underlying OS's are.

Sorry... No,I couldn't.

I am introducing the Solarwinds product to my customers.

This customer use Juniper,and they want to know can-use or cann't.

They don't want to try and error,they want to know there is success result for their Juniper product.

And this customer is far from my place,I couldn't try this product.

In the past, I try to make custom script and activity for another product, this is need for long time.

There is no business talk any longer.

If you know whether it is possible to use it by Juniper_OS6.1, please teach me.

Hi Masashi,

The Juniper.Netscreen.Firewall device type in CatTools should work with Netscreen O/S 6.1.

We made some modifications to the script for another customer in CatTools v3.3.14 when their Juniper NetScreen 5200 firewalls were upgraded from v5.4 to v6.1.  They confirmed to us that the script was working fine with v6.1.

I'd recommend the customer downloads the CatTools Evaluation edition and tries the Juniper.Netscreen.Firewall device type.  A list of supported activities and reports for the Juniper.Netscreen.Firewall device type can be found at: http://www.kiwisyslog.com/wrapper/devices-supported/

If your customer encounters any problems with running these activities or reports, then please raise a ticket with SolarWinds technical support with the details.

I know this URL, I think everyone want to know about these device's support OS version.
Engineer want to know about more detail for to reduce try and error.
We can't see device script excluding cisco-device-template.
I wish there is many pattern for custom script.
If we can see all procuts scripts, we can make easy for new device's os.
