    Average Response Time & Packet Loss



      I have both NPM SLX and CACTI running, polling the same nodes.

      We have Site B that is currently experiencing packet loss from network Site A, same network as the polling engine NPM. In CACTI shows the 16% packet loss (polling every 5mins). NPM showing 0%.

      I have set NPM to Average Response Time & Packet Loss threshold to 5% Warning and 10% Error Level as well as Polling Settings "Default Node Statistics Poll Interval" = 5 mins and "Default Node Poll Interval" = 120 secs.

      Is there another way to tweak NPM to show correct realtime statistics? Our users in Site B are experience Internet problems at the moment and our new Solarwinds NPM is not performing proactively.
