CPU is not discovered via SNMP

Dears,

am using a trial version of Orion 9.5 SP2, i added some nodes and all of them are monitored fine except for wireless nodes where i cant work on wireless module ( from what i read i need SP3 to have it work in good status and i sent mail to Orion sales department if i can have it but no answer i got ).

The question now, that when i tried to add SNMP linux machine i succesfully discovered the nodes but when i tried to monitor this nodes i can get all info ( real memory, swap, ...... ) except CPU load.

Can any one help me on this ?

Are they showing up as Linux nodes or Unknown? If they show up as Linux and not showing CPU, the OID we are polling to get that is not returning anything, so it could be using a different OID. You can use the Universal Device Poller to poll the CPU for that node and add it to the Linux devices

Also please tell me more about your wireless devices. Are they controller/thin AP's or thick/autonomous APs? What vendor?

Hi bshopp,
They are Cisco AP's and regarding the linux node, yes they are showing the type of OS "Linux Node".
I will try with the Universal Device Poller and will let you know the result.
