Cleanup Monitor History

How do I simply wipe out/delete all monitor "history" for a specific monitor point, and/or for ALL monitors?

  • Hello erharj,

It is currently not possible to delete the historical statistisc for only one or some Monitors.  In order to delete all statistics for all Monitors, you would simply perform the following:

    1. Stop the ipMonitorSrv and ipMonitorRpt services.
    2. Delete \program files\solarwinds\ipmonitor\dbstore\*.* (everything older than 24 hours)
    3. Delete \program files\solarwinds\ipmonitor\dbtmp\*.* (everything within the last 24 hours)
    4. Start the ipMonitorSrv and ipMonitorRpt services.

  • Good Morning,,,,,

I don't want to delete all historical data, but would like to start removing some of the older data.  Is it possible to just delete the years no longer needed/wanted?

    thanks
