NTA license question

1. Would there be a problem if we planned to buy NTA (SL500) and integrate it with NPM (SLX) ?

2. Since we the base NPM is in SLX, is it a must that the succeeding modules would be in SLX also?

These questions must be asked a thousand times already, sorry about that. I'm just too lazy to search for it :)

Orion NTA licensing follows Orion NPM licensing. If you have an Orion NPM SLX, you will need Orion NTA SLX.

Yes. You must buy the NTA for SLX license for it to work on an NPM SLX. NTA is licensed is tied to your NPM installation.
2. Since we the base NPM is in SLX, is it a must that the succeeding modules would be in SLX also?
No, this only applies for the NTA module. Other modules (APM, IPAM, and IP SLA Manager) can be licensed separately from your NPM license. See the online quote tool for more info.

Is there anyway we can do something about it? we only want to use NTA for less than 500 nodes.yet, if we buy SLX then it cost us another fortune or 10k more.
Since it is only a plan on buying it.....Without thinking no executive will approved this. And we can't think of something solid to support on why we need this module
