How to restore default node view?

Question

One of my users with customize views permissions went and wreaked havoc on my node views not realizing that it was affecting the view for everybody putting me in a bad situation.

Is there some way that I can restore the default (factory settings) node view?

You could delete the Node Details view, then run the Web Configuration Backup tool and have it Merge (not Overwrite!) the "NetPerfMon Initial Configuration" file.

This will give you a new view called "Node Details" with the default resource setup, but it will have a different view id number in the database. It may be necessary to update some of your accounts to point to this new Node Details view.
