ASA bug and netflow (incorrect interfaces)

I just heard back from Cisco they have solved the issue where netflow shows under the wrong interfaces. The issue will be resolved in code release 8.2.1.12 that should be available 10/16. This is not set in stone but this is what they told me would most likely happen.

I was just contacted by Cisco. They are not sure the bug has been fixed. I am actually testing the code release for them now.

Hi Donald,
Regarding this firmware-upgrade: on Cisco's support website I only version 8.2.1.11 over the last few weeks. I cannot find 8.2.1.12 somewhere. I know you're not Cisco, but can you shed some light in this?

Sure. They initially said they would release that version but I think its possible that it was either delayed or it is only gotten upon request. The only reason I got it is because I filed the bug and did the final testing for it.

I am sure you can get it if you file a TAC case or I would assume they will come out with a new release soon that will include it.

Hi Donald,
Received the 8.2.1.12 firmware from Cisco, and put it in my ASA. The interface-names-issue is gone now, but now I'm seeing strange things in NTA regarding "Transmitted" and "Received". I have been talking to Solarwinds Support about this, sending Wireshark-captures etc. but we cannot really figure out what's going.
Would you be willing to talk about that? If so, would that be here, or in private mail?
In short, what's happening is this: traffic that goes out from the network, is seen as "Received traffic" and vice versa. SolarWinds say they have heard that Netflow-traffic from the ASA is "direction-neutral". This might be a configuration issue (although I cannot see where) or maybe a firmware issue.
