SNMP Trap Alerts and Trigger Threshold Logic

If I configure an SNMP Trap to suppress alert action until 10 traps are recieved within one minute and I also configure suspend further alert actions for 15 minutes after the alert actions are executed what happens when that 15 minute timer expires.  At 15 minutes and 1 second do I start performing alert actions on every matching incoming trap or does the logic repeat   i.e. at 15 minutes and 1 second do I have to receive 10 traps matching the rule within a minute then I take the action and wait another 15 minutes ?????

  • Behavior:

Received 10 traps in 1 minute--> Execute Action & Suspend for 15 minutes

15 minutes elapsed --> Wait for new 10 traps in 1 minute

Received 10 traps in 1 minute--> Execute Action & Suspend for 15 minutes

15 minutes elapsed --> Wait for 10 new traps in 1 minute

This logic repeat again and again.
