    ASA Failover Status w/ Alerting?

    Callahan

After some hunting, I was able to add Failover status monitoring on some paired ASA units ([url=Custom Pollers - Cisco ASA Failover status]Previous thread on ASA monitoring). I still have a couple questions.

Is it possible to remove the "CiscoASAcfwHardwareInformation - Label" From the table? I would much prefer to just have the Hardware info and Status.

Also, I would like to set up an Alert, so I will be notified when the status changes from "Active Unit" to "Standby Unit". So I would be able to investigate the cause of the ASA failing over. I'm having a difficult time trying to match the right Trigger Condition's.

Would anyone have any advice on how to set up the alerting portion correctly?

      Thanks,

      Mike
