Cant remove Toolset..

Ed - Can you give me some more information about what SQL version the Toolset conflicts with?  I have never heard of this before. 

The error you are receiving can happen when the .NET runtimes have become corrupt. Especially if you have never tried to license the application. This could also have an effect on SQL...

Once you get .NET repaired, run the installer to repair the installation (to prevent errors from your registry and file removal), then run the uninstall; that should fix you up.  If not, PM me and we can take the next step.

i did the .net repair (sfc /scannow), and tried to reinstall but got the same error...

To close the loop on this - Did a remote session with Ed and got him going. Some license files had become corrupt.  Our support team should be able to assist anyone else with this issue.

Hi - I am experiencing the same issue having an expired engineers toolset, and I am trying to install a licensed version of the standard toolset.

Could use some help getting whatever registry or license files removed / cleaned so I can perform the new install.
