How to change Device Properties, especially Primary IP

Question

So how do you change a Device's Primary IP?

In particular, if you clone a device (which also clones it's underlying monitors), you can change the properties of the cloned monitors, but you can't change the device's Primary IP address.

Cloning aside, what happens in the future when if you just change that device's IP address?

We're on ipMonitor 9.06 by the way, having just upgraded from 8.5.

Looks like I solved my own problem. After changing the Property Refresh Policy to "Keep old values on rescan", the fields become changeable.
