Sameera,
You're going to need to provide more context than just a screenshot of the error. Which template are you using? What kind of node are you trying to poll? What data are you expecting see? What steps did you follow to get to that error message.
We do want to help, but there isn't enough to go on. If you want more interactive help, you might want to open a Support ticket.
i have same problem with sameera. the notification is same with sameera post. i used linux template and i want to edit the template. i try to input the script from linux script monitor by changing the parameter.
before i edit the script,i tested to all volume connected to linux server but still unavailable.
can you help me how to solve this problem?
Christina,
What node did you use to test the template? Make sure it is a Linux node. In the original post it seems that the test node was Orion server which by definition is a windows machine and will certainly fail. So please confirm that and if the issue persists please open a support case and we should be able to help you with this.
Sham
thank u sham,
please help me for this question,do i need to change body script on linux script monitor,or nothing i should change?
when the error still going, what i supposed to do?
You should not need to change anything in the script body. It should work out of the box.
I am not sure what you are asking in the second question.
If you are applying the template to a Linux node and still getting the error then the best option is to open a support ticket and upload diagnostic information so we can help you with specific issue in your environment.
dear sam,
i did apply the template to a Linux node, that the linux version is RHEL 5.and the notifications still Testing on node orion: failed with 'NotAvailable' status The script returned status code DOWN.
what i supposed to do for this?
please reply this as soon as possible cos i am in hurry..
please help me..
thanks sam
Christina,
At this point your best bet is to open a support case so they can check logs and give you an idea of what the issue might be.
Sham
Hello - did you ever resolve this issue?
I have the same problem running this script against a linux host (RHEL 5.5). SNMPd is running, root access given, etc. I'm not sure if I need to tweak my snmpd.conf or what. I am able to add OIDs to monitor disk using snmp on my IPMonitor installation so it does at least work there.
thanks
