Anyone else on 3.5 weith this issue?

Every since we installed 3.5 I have had to shutoff the netflow service it just bogs down our SQL box which is dedicated to SW. Everything was fine in 3.1 and after 3.5 without adding any new sources I will get average drive READ queue's well overe 100 which makes SQL so slow it kills the rest of the app.

I have been working with support on this for days and days without resolution.

Just looking to see if anyone has the same issue and what you may have done.

Just an update.
We got a SQL statement from support that shutoff the CBQOS reporting and that seems to have solved our issue. We will have to wait for some sort of fix to the use the QOS functionality.

Hi Donald,
Good to hear that worked for now. I am looking at feature enhancements that will allow you to select the CBQoS interfaces you want to monitor for environments with a large number of CBQoS interfaces.

That's the portion of it I think is a bug. I had only about 150 devices selected within netflow but in spite of that its as if it was trying to pull stats anyway from ALL devices. I think all told it found 9000 CQBOS interfaces.

Now the software is designed to add CBQoS interfaces even if they are not NetFlow exporters. Sounds like a good option would be for us to add the ability to select to only collect CBQoS from interfaces in NTA.

I would agree with that, treating them all as the same seems to be an issue they need to be addressed seperately.

In my environment I only have about 250 netflow interfaces but probably several thousand at least that would be CBQOS worthy but not send netflow nor be cable of it.
