Map tooltips for network links

Any suggestions please .....

I am running NPM 9.5 SP1 and I was wondering if we can add more information on the popups using variables on network links using tooltip. I know that this can be achieved when we assign network interface to an object but I am looking for similar popup information on network links with more information.

Have you looked at the Network Atlas Admin Guide here

Yes I did look at it but couldn't find anything that would help me. I was hoping somebody who has good knowledge of Network Atlas would tell if that is possible or not. Or, that is a feature that will be implemented later.

I agree with avnishb, the ability to modify the tooltip is there if you make the object an interface (and not a switch for arguments sake).  But not if you create a network link between two devices (two switches) and specify that the link is between 0/1 on switch one and 0/2 on switch two.

When you then hover over the network link - in this scenario - the only info displayed is the two ports that the link is between.  I would like to see not only the ability to add info to the network links, but also as a 'feature request' (maybe in the wrong section of the forum) the ability to have the actual link change colour (or style) depending on the % utilisation of the available bandwidth, I think that this would be more useful than the tool-tip as you could then see at a glance which of your network links are near saturation, or at least above 'acceptable % utilization.

Network Atlas currently does not allow to customize tooltips over links. 

Can this be requested for future release including changing or color based on utilization of interfaces ?
