Re: Upgrade to Atlas , How to remove tri colour outline
michalB Jul 21, 2009 5:12 AM (in response to AHooks)there is a work-around in SP2:
until now, you had three different pictures for three different statuses: down, warning and up. The name of the file with the picture was like {name}-{status} (except the UP status), so there were files like picture-down.gif, picture-warning.gif, and picture.gif.
Network Atlas does not recognize the UP status image, unless its name ends with "-up". So if you have the correct picture named picture.gif, make a copy of it to create picture-up.gif.
Please note this has to be done on the server where Network Atlas is installed. If you want the files to be correctly synchronized with database, they have to be in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Application Data\SolarWinds\NetworkAtlas\Maps\Orion\localhost\NetObjects\User Graphics

Re: Upgrade to Atlas , How to remove tri colour outline
AHooks Jul 21, 2009 5:28 AM (in response to michalB)Hi,
Your suggestion worked for me, however the file "picture.wmf" for me was the one that was the unknown grey colour, not the one for the UP (green) status.
I went in to the directory you referenced and changed the picture.wmf file to picture-unknown.wmf and now the image displays as it should. I guess in the same way you could do this for the unmanaged and external status' too.
Many thanks for your quick response to this and with an answer that has resolved my issues, and hopefully the others issues too!
Kind regards
Adrian
