NODE DETAILS resource view

Question

how do i prevent a particular Resource View from showing up in a specific node's detail view?

for instance, there's a view RELATED SYSLOG MESSAGES in some of my nodes detail view but these will never have Syslogs, but yet the Resource View named NODE DETAILS includes it and assigns it globally to all nodes.

for example, so if i have these nodes, how do i keep it out of the node detail view for MyNODE2? i'm sure its something easy but i'm missing it somewhere. thanks.

This can only be done by device type... not for specific devices.  To do it for a specific device type you can create the new view through manage views in the web console under "Admin".  Then under Admin ->Manage Views you can select "by device type"
