    DHCP vs Static

      A request from my management.

Is there a way to tell what are DHCP IP Addresses and what are Static IP Addresses?

If you select an IP in a subnet and click edit there is a Type field with a drop down with three option, mainly static and dynamic that you can set that is different than IP Status.  For some reason on my build multi-select was not working properly, let me check into, but check that out and let me know if that would satisfy your requirement.

We were hoping that there would be another metric to identify from a dynamic scan what would be static and what would be dynamic.

What we do is if we have a class C subnet we will take half of the C and make it static and the other half as DHCP.  I'm not sure how to go about pulling the information in determining if a device was assigned a DHCP IP or a static IP.  SNMP?  maybe a seed device?  maybe pull the DHCP info from a DHCP server?
