Forum Alert process external monitors, I just cant seem to find where to do this!

Alert process external monitors, I just cant seem to find where to do this!

Hey All,

I have looked and looked, and I must be seriously over looking something. When adding an alert there is not an option for an external process. My goal is to display a public web page stating service status. I was going to do this by running a script on alert that will write to an sql database. Can some one please point me in the right direction, I think im loosing it. I have spent 3 hours just trying to find this option. I really need to get this project done by tomorrow morning, so I need help quick! Oh, I have version 9.0 build 1236 installed.

So I found out it is because I am not logged in as administrator! How foolish am I. However, to my support, I still have yet to find anywhere that states this.
