I have recently started getting events generated in NPM from my switches and uplink ports stating they are up. I have about 260 nodes and 650 interfaces being monitored.
Usually I only get this when a link goes down or reboots and then comes back up. I'll get a switch rebooted event, then a switch up event when it comes back online. Now NPM several times a day will just trigger an event stating the switch and links are up. I beleive all these extra events cause the database to fill up and I have to run a Compact and Repair more often now. Not to mention looking at all these events. Has anyone experienced this. I'm running version 9.2 and I haven't changed any configurations recently
Thanks for your help,
