    Website Error - Manage Nodes

    NTeam

      Hi All,

Receiving the below error when changing the sorted field to Custom Property fields under Manage Nodes. Noticed that if i sorted by a custom property that existed for ALL Nodes then would NOT receive the error.

However when sorting via a custom property that only existed for some nodes i got this error.

Found a way around by entering data into the custom property fields, removing this and then the Manage Nodes would display Unknow(XX).

Anyone else had this issue or found an easier fix then entering data and removing it??

       Regards

      Michael

System.ServiceModel.CommunicationObjectFaultedException: The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state.

It seems that the information service encountered an error and cannot process the query sent by the web console. The details of the error should be in the InformationService.log or Orion.InformationService.log files in the

           C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolarWinds\InformationService folder.

I advise you to open a support ticket with us and to attach the diagnostics and the log files contained in the above folder by replying to the email you will receive once the ticket is created.

          Thanks

          Yann
