I am trying to configure an advanced alert to monitor contacts on our APC environmental unit. I configued a Custom Poller using OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.2.2.2.1.5.2. I can see it is monitoring and registering a 3 on the Node Detail (which it is supposed to while I am testing). It is normally supposed to be a 2.
I have tried to configure an advance alert using one of these methods but can't get it to trip.
OID is equal to 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.2.2.2.1.5.2
Numeric Status is equal to 3
I have tried it as Status, Total, Rate - same thing -no alert
I have also tried to use CustomPoller Name instead of the OID - same thing - no trip.
Ideas?
